What events do you run?
Currently we only run ConFusion Mondays, a social dance night once a month. You can see upcoming dates here.
What is ConFusion Mondays?
Our monthly fusion social dance night. It starts with a free taster class of a different dance style each month, then we dance the night away. Find out more here.
How much do your events cost?
All events are donation based and done on an honesty system. We accept anything from £0-5, cash and bank transfers. (contactless payment coming soon!)
Can I pre book?
No need to book, just turn up and dance
What is fusion dancing?
TLDR: partner dancing to a range of styles of music. Read more on our about page or come along to ConFusion Mondays and see what it’s all about.
Are you open to new dancers?
Yes! If you want to dance, we want you on the dance floor! If it’s you’re first time, we’d recommend coming to the taster at the start to get you in the groove.
Do I need to come with a partner?
Nope – It’s a social dance so it’s expected that you dance with different people throughout the night. You are welcome to bring a partner and dance with only them if you’d rather though.
Do you have a code of conduct?
Yes, it can be found here.
What type of music do you dance to?
All sorts. Expect to hear funk, soul, blues, hip hop, folk, latin and jazz – we’re open to anything! If there’s something you want to dance to that you’re not hearing, come and chat to us.
Do you have accessibility information?
Yes, you can find it here. If you need any other information please get in touch.
Can I help out?
Absolutely! You can see all the ways to get involved here.
Can I teach a taster/DJ?
We’re always looking for workshops and DJs – please email or chat to us.
How do I get to Shakespeare’s?
Shakespeare’s is very easy to get to by all modes of transport! It’s accessible by foot, bus, tram, train, bike and car. For more details see the “getting here” section on ConFusion Mondays.
