What are ConFusion Sundays?

ConFusion Sunday is a new fusion dance event in Sheffield. We mostly do partnered dancing (plus some solo and group dancing). Our socials start with a short taster lesson to learn something new and help you feel confident before the social. After the taster we’ll dance until the pub closes!

We do sliding scale pricing to keep events accessible to everyone (but still cover the cost of running it). Cash on bank transfer

Getting here

Shakespeare’s is centrally located so it’s easy to get to by any mode of transport.

Bus: A variety of buses stop right outside Shakespeare’s (57, 57a, 81, 82, 86). Most other buses in the city stop within 15-20 minute walk.

Tram: Shalesmoor tram stop is less than 10 minute walk away (blue and yellow line)

Cathedral tram stop is less than 10 minute walk away (blue, yellow, purple and TramTrain lines)

Train: Sheffield train station is a 20 minute (mostly flat!) walk away

Foot: Less than 10 minutes from Cathedral

5 minutes from Kelham Island

Less than 15 minutes from Hallam city campus

20 minute from Sheffield University

Bike: there are segregated cyclepaths from city centre. There’s bike ranks outside the pub.

Car: Although we advise against driving where possible, there is pay and display street parking available outside the pub.
